The sun rises and makes the immense city look beautifully rich and colourful. Along the imposing walls that protect the city, we enter the enclosure through the Ishtar Gate, which sparkles with a thousand lights, then life arises frantically as it invades the procession. A feeling of wonder in front of the Hanging Gardens, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, gives way to the maddening ascension of the enormous ziggurat, which was the inspiration for the Tower of Babel, and which connects earth to heaven. At the top, the temple of Marduk that watches over the city…
 
Born in 1987, Thibaut BRUNIAUX is a French composer and arranger. After his studies at the National Higher Conservatory of Paris and after having received a Master’s in composition, he obtained a Teaching Certificate from the National Higher Conservatory of Lyon. Currently he is a Professor in composition at the Conservatory of Lille and he divides his attention between teaching, composition and directing. Trained as a trumpet player and pianist, he specialized in writing for copper instruments and makes very frequently arrangements for brass-band. At the same time, he is a conductor and he regularly conducts brass-bands and concert bands.
