Some very traditional brass band repertoire on display here, along with some very good new compositions and arrangements.

New compsitions to listen to are tracks 3 ( Flourish) featuring Richard Marshall with his usual superb clarity in velocity performance, and track 5 ( Finale from the Wicked Struggle) featuring Jonathon Bates on Tenor Horn.

Favourite new arrangements has to be the Black Dyke Big Band Set - tracks 10,11 and 12. Particularly pleasing is the conversation between Ian Yates and Adrian Hurst in "Old Pops Was Right !".
