THE GREEN HILLS (Rossini, arr. David Thompson) Although often considered to be an original Scottish song, the music was in fact composed by Rossini in 1829 as part of his world famous opera "William Tell".
NB Please note that all the titles in this category ( Bagpipes and Brass Band ) can be performed with the Concert Band arrangements on our Wind Band site - i.e. the keys are compatable.
Instrumentation is Standard British Brass Band Instrumentation
i.e. all brass parts are transposing and in Treble Clef, with the exception of the Bass Trombone, which is written in Bass Clef at Concert Pitch.
