THE DRUNKEN PIPER (arr. David Thompson) This setting by David Thompson was featured on the 1993 Edinburgh Tattoo by the combined Pipes and Military Bands of the Scottish Division. Since then, it's popularity has increased year by year.
NB Please note that all the titles in this category ( Bagpipes and Brass Band ) can be performed with the Concert Band arrangements on our Wind Band site - i.e. the keys are compatable.
Instrumentation is Standard British Brass Band Instrumentation
i.e. all brass parts are transposing and in Treble Clef, with the exception of the Bass Trombone, which is written in Bass Clef at Concert Pitch.
