Glorioso was commissioned by the Gloucestershire Brass Band Association (GBBA) for the occasion of its 75th Anniversary celebration which took place recently. Nearly 200 bandsmen and women took part in the first performance, a massed band made up from member bands.

The music is simple in concept. repeating a three note motif (C. B. B and A) throughout its varied three minute duration. A lively concert piece. suitable for all grades of band.
