Sweet ‘n’ Low has been produced in response to numerous requests for bass clef versions of the Mix ‘n’ Match series of easy duets for treble clef instruments. A similar formula has been adopted to provide transpositions for almost every instrument and the contents of each book are identical to the equivalent book in the Mix ‘n’ Match series, allowing bass clef instruments to combine with any other bass or treble clef instrument for duet playing.
Each duet appears in the booktwice (on facing pages), the second version being merely a transposition ofthefirst. Two instruments both reading bass clef should use voices 1 and 2 (at the appropriate octave). By mixing the voices, and using this book in conjunction with the equivalent book in the Mix ‘n’ Match series, the following combinations are possible:
