Highlights from The EUROPEAN BRASS BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019 - Double CD

Over 41 years of the European Brass Band Championships, the contest has become a unique pinnacle of competitive brass banding and has been hosted in some breathtaking cities. EBBC is a week long celebration of banding - including workshops, demonstrations, concerts, and of course the contests themselves. EBBC 2019 was hosted in Montreux's Stravinski Auditiorium and saw many bands arriving in Switzerland with the hopes of taking the title of 'European Brass Band Champions'. This included the world's number one brass band, Cory Band, with Philip Harper.

 

The European Brass Band Championships is a chance to listen to bands from all over Europe come together and perform a variety of pieces, from old classics to the unveiling of brand new pieces, whilst also each playing a technical set test piece. This highlights album pulls together a taste of the whole event, including performances from the Championship, Challenge and Youth Sections as well as the Gala Concert featuring Valaisia Brass Band.
