Great new opener - as performed by German Brass Duration 4.00
This programmatic piece tells the biblical story of the fall of Jericho. The music paints a vivid picture of the procession of armed men and seven priests marching around the city for seven days, before blowing their trumpets and to the cheers of the crowds watching as the walls came tumbling down. A dazzling opening work for any concert.

As the title implies, this composition is a bass section feature, with a bit of a difference. In addition to modern spirited passages which demonstrate the bass sections virtuosity there are also slower sections which are reminiscent of a gospel choir! A great way of showcasing your bass section.
